My Story
Hi my name is Ros, , mother of two grown up boys, Grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren.
R K Jewellery was inspired during Covid 19. It had for a long time been a dream of mine to make and sell my jewellery. How I wished that I had been brave enough to make this step years ago.
I have a passion for using Fine Silver Metal Clay to make beautiful, wearable pendants and earrings.
I started making Silver Jewellery 27yrs ago, studying traditional silver smithsmithing at Maidenhead night school. It was quite a big part of my life for 8yrs. Since then I have dipped in and out of it not really achieving much. In October 2019 I discovered I had a serious health issue which occupied my mind a lot. I needed something else to focus on, so I picked my tools back up. My eldest son brought me some Fine Silver Clay for Christmas, which was very exciting as I had not use anything like this before. It soon became obvious that I needed some tuition as it needs some careful handling. I started watching tutorials on YouTube, so after many hours watching I was ready to begin. After I started playing with the clay we ended up in lockdown. It was good having something to focus on during this difficult time, it has kept me sane. Once I started using this medium I was hooked. I still love creating beautiful jewellery using Sterling Silver Sheet and wire and am hoping to incorporate both mediums in the future.

Items will be sent by Royal Mail Second Class track and trace. Delivery should not take longer than 2 days from dispatch but this is dependent on Royal Mail. R K Jewellery can not be held responsible for delivery delays outside our control.

We hope you are pleased with your purchase of Jewellery. Each piece is handmade and polished to a high sheen. Because of this there will always be an organic feel to each piece.
I never try to create a 'mass produced' effect, as this would take away uniqueness, handmade element.
Fine Silver is less hard wearing than Sterling Silver. Care should be taken when doing manual work.
In order to keep your piece of Jewellery in the best possible condition we strongly recommend the following:
Avoid contact with, soap, perfume and chemicals.
Gently wipe your piece with a soft cloth to avoid a build up of tarnish.
Avoid rubbing hard over any textures, this may cause loss in detail.
Check fastenings and links on a regular basis.
Remove when swimming and showering.
